What we collect, and what we send on.
Short version: we keep what you type into the enquiry form so we can answer it, we measure how the site performs, and we tell Google Ads that an enquiry happened — including a one-way hashed form of your email and phone, so the right advert gets the credit. We never send Google your name or your message, and never your email or phone in readable form.

When you send an enquiry
The form asks for your name, email address, phone number, a move-in date and a message. Only the name and email are required; the rest helps us answer usefully.
We use it to reply to you and to hold your enquiry against the room you asked about. It reaches our booking console, which is the record we work from, and a copy is emailed to the team. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.
What we measure
This site runs Google Analytics 4. It records which pages are opened, which buttons are pressed, which room was being read when an enquiry was sent, and whether a phone number and a message came with it.
What it deliberately does not record is who you are. No name, no email address, no phone number and no message text is sent to Google Analytics — only a true or false saying whether each field was filled. Sending the contents would breach Google’s own terms, and we would rather have the measurement than the detail.
Adverts, and the hashed identifiers
We advertise this building on Google. When an advert leads to an enquiry we need to know which one, or we are paying for adverts without knowing which of them work.
A browser cookie covers the straightforward case. It does not cover the common one: you see the advert on a phone and send the form on a laptop, or you clear your browser in between. For that, when you send an enquiry we compute a SHA-256 digest of your email address and, where we can read it, your phone number, and send those digests to Google Ads alongside the fact that an enquiry happened.
A digest is one-way: it cannot be turned back into your address. It is not anonymous either, because the same address always produces the same digest — that is precisely how Google matches it to a click. So we treat it as personal information, we compute it in your browser, and the readable address never goes to Google at all. It is sent only to Google Ads, never to Google Analytics.
The room explorer
The floor-by-floor explorer embedded under the home page is served from explore.stagg.live. It is part of our own booking system and shows live room availability. Opening a room there and pressing one of its buttons brings you back to the form on this site.
Cookies, and saying no
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google Ads and exist to count a visit once and to connect an advert to an enquiry. There is nothing here that needs a cookie in order to work: you can block or clear them in your browser and every page, the explorer and the enquiry form will behave exactly the same.
You can also turn off personalised Google advertising for your own account at adssettings.google.com, independently of this site.
How long we keep it, and how to have it removed
Enquiries stay in our booking console while they are live and for as long as we may reasonably need them afterwards — a returning enquiry about the same room is common. Analytics data is retained by Google under that product’s own settings.
Write to info@stagg.live and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or its deletion. Say which email address you used and we will find the enquiry. We answer within one business day and will tell you plainly if there is some reason we cannot do what you asked.
